Wildside Adventures

Wildside Adventures is owned and operated by Amy and Emily, highly trained guides who are natives to the Whakatane area. Their goal is to provide opportunities for locals and tourists to experience New Zealand and the many adventures they can discover within the breath-taking wilderness and along the Bay of Plenty shoreline.

One of Wildside Adventures highlights is their snorkelling trips. Guided by a PADI dive instructor, marine biologist there are a number of options available. Enjoy a short boat trip to snorkel near one of the islands, Whale Island or the Raurimus, which are home to many rare birds, tuatara, penguins and seals, off the coast of Whakatane  or for those who would rather go from the beach we have a number of beautiful Bays to snorkel from. You will learn about the local marine life, and learn tips on catching local Kiwi delicacies.
